Debbie Berry
Owner & Hair Stylist
Debbie is the owner of 5th Avenue Salon and has been doing hair for over 35 years. She loves working with all types of color, with a special focus on traditional highlights, gray coverage, and creating the perfect brunette. Debbie is known for her love of problem-solving and for taking a thoughtful, detailed approach to every look. She is also passionate about pouring into and mentoring the younger generation of stylists, helping them grow with confidence and skill. Outside the salon, Debbie enjoys crocheting, walking, reading, and spending time crafting with her grandkids.
Becca Montague
Hair Stylist
Becca is a Master Stylist with over 10 years of experience and a passion for helping guests feel confident in hair that looks and feels natural. With curly hair herself, she especially enjoys educating clients on how to embrace their God-given texture and understand their options. She enjoys tailoring each service to her clients’ wants, needs, and lifestyle, with special attention to the small details that make every look feel personal rather than one-size-fits-all. Becca specializes in gray coverage, natural-looking colors, and both textured and precision haircuts, with a love for pixies, bobs, shags, and shorter to medium-length styles. She works primarily Fridays and Saturdays and is currently accepting new color clients.
Shelby Alexander
Hair Stylist
Shelby specializes in extensions, lived-in color, and textured haircuts, and loves helping clients feel confident by teaching them how to care for their hair while bringing their vision to life. What matters most to Shelby is creating hair that fits her client’s lifestyles and helps them feel their best. Outside the salon, she is a wife and mom who enjoys slow days spent outdoors- gardening, soaking up sunshine, and spending time with her donkeys. Shelby is currently new color and extension clients.
Rachel Drake
Hair Stylist
Rachel has over 10 years behind the chair and is a passionate hairstylist who specializes in long layers and beautifully dimensional color. She loves creating lived-in, effortless looks that enhance natural beauty and fit real life. When she’s not in the salon, Rachel enjoys spending quality time with her family and chasing adventures together, finding inspiration in everyday moments.
Kathryn Heitzmann
Hair Stylist
Kathryn is a Senior Stylist with over 7 years of experience. She specializes in blondes, dimensional brunettes, lived-in color, layered and textured haircuts, and precision cuts. What matters most to her is creating an experience where guests feel welcomed, comfortable, truly heard, and beautiful. She takes pride in thoughtful, thorough consultations so there is always clarity and confidence in the vision for your hair. Outside the salon, Kathryn is a wife and is soaking up every moment of being a new mom to her sweet baby boy. She values community, connection, and meaningful relationships. Kathryn is currently accepting new color clients.
Paige Fogle
Nail Technician
Paige is a Nail Artist with a passion for creating beautiful, long-lasting gel polish manicures and detailed hand-painted nail art. She loves collaborating with her clients to bring their ideas to life. What matters most to Paige is maintaining a clean, professional, and safe environment while providing a painless and comfortable nail service every time. She is honored to have been voted Best of Blue Ridge in 2019 and is grateful for the trust her clients place in her. Outside the salon, Paige enjoys life with her husband, Matt, and their Pomeranians, Gus and Gidget. Paige is not currently accepting new clients.
Diamond Oliver
Hair Stylist
Diamond loves creating dimensional color and beautifully layered haircuts and is always excited to learn and try new things behind the chair. Her goal is for every client to feel completely comfortable, truly heard, and genuinely happy. She takes her time and gives her full attention so guests leave feeling refreshed and confident. Outside the salon, she’s in full mom mode with her two girls and enjoys baking, cooking, and swapping new recipes. (Food tips are always welcome!) She is currently accepting new color and cut clients and would love to welcome you into her chair.
Erika Jones
Hair Stylist
Erika is a hairstylist with six years of experience and a true passion for helping people look and feel their best. She loves meeting new people, building genuine connections, and creating styles that help clients feel beautiful and confident. Erika specializes in blonding, lived-in color, and gray blending, and especially enjoys working with medium to longer lengths. When she’s not behind the chair, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends or going on adventures with her husband. Erika is currently accepting new clients.
